About Us

Our Story

The Armenian Cultural Society of New Hampshire was founded to fill a need: a place for Armenians across the state to connect, celebrate, and belong.

Our Mission

To build a vibrant, inclusive social community that connects Armenians across New Hampshire through regular gatherings, professional networking, cultural celebrations, and unforgettable shared experiences.

The Gap We Fill

Why ACSNH Exists

New Hampshire has deep Armenian roots dating back to the late 1800s. Armenian families fleeing the Ottoman Empire settled in Salem, Manchester, and communities across the state. The Ararat Armenian Congregational Church in Salem has served the community since 1913.

Yet despite this rich history, there has never been a casual social organization dedicated to bringing Armenians together simply to connect, celebrate, and enjoy each other's company.

While political advocacy groups and religious institutions serve important roles, many Armenians — especially younger professionals and families — have lacked a welcoming space for regular social gatherings, networking, and cultural enrichment right here in New Hampshire.

ACSNH was created to change that. We are the community hub that connects Armenians across the state — from Manchester to Nashua, Concord to Portsmouth, and everywhere in between.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Inclusivity

Open to all Armenians and friends of Armenia regardless of background, age, or level of cultural connection. Whether you are 100% Armenian or simply drawn to the culture, you are welcome.

Community First

We are about building genuine friendships and meaningful relationships. No politics, no drama — just people coming together to support one another across New Hampshire.

Heritage & Authenticity

We celebrate Armenian culture through enjoyable, welcoming experiences — from traditional cooking to music nights to remembrance. Modern without losing tradition.

Local Pride

Rooted in New Hampshire and proud of it. We connect with the unique spirit of our state while honoring our Armenian roots and history in this region.
